Bombshell

  Bombshell is a recent exclusive introduction from our Classic CEO Bob Hartman’s breeding program. Bombshell is a beautiful intense red colored fancy-leaved caladium variety with deep almost blue-green margins. Bombshell prefers partial sun (up to 8 hrs in southern zones) to shade. Look for a neat & compact habit, does very well in the landscape or containers.

Bold ‘N Beautiful

    Heart to Heart™ Caladium Bold ‘N Beautiful has a unique color pattern among lance (strap) leaf caladium varieties. When it first sprouts in the spring, leaves are pinkish-rose with an olive green border. Later emerging leaves are mostly white with pinkish rose/orange with white veins. Bold ‘N Beautiful will favors partial sun to shade sun conditions, tolerates approx 8 hours of morning sun in southern climes.. Look for leaves to darken as matures. Another patented caladium variety from Our Classic CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman. All bulbs are de-eyed and painted.

Blushing Bride

    Heart to Heart™ Blushing Bride features bright deep pink leaf areas with a green border, the main veins may turn whiter depending on growing conditions. Our strap Blushing Bride is a true “beautiful bride” among caladiums. Individual leaves are moderately frilly and may average about 7″ long. This variety is a creation of our CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman. Partial to full shade, can tolerate approx 8 hrs of morning sun.

Berries N’ Burgundy

    Berries N’ Burgundy caladiums are a distinctive new fancy caladium introduction from our Classic CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman’s breeding program. With an unusual bronze tinted leaf, Berries N’ Burgundy caladiums will be a spectacular addition to any landscape or pot. We recommend de-eying to improve habit for pots and containers. Prefers shade, can withstand 6 hrs of morning sun.

Aaron Caladiums

    A very good white variety of caladiums, Aaron caladiums can tolerate 12 hours of sun. Aaron features a creamy white center, with outer green margins with no netting in center of leaves. Aaron is a hybrid developed by one of the pioneers of caladium breeding, F. M. Joyner – a postman in Tampa FL. He developed several breeds of caladiums in the later 1930’s. Classic has worked hard to clean up and rejuvenate this long-standing favorite caladium bulb.

Apple Blossom

    These striking leaves feature green borders with pink center and pronounced pink main veins. Our fancy Apple Blossom caladiums also feature slightly frilly leaves.Best in shady areas, will take 6 hrs morning sun in the southern climes.

Allure Caladiums

    Allure caladiums – a 2016 patented fancy variety developed by Classic CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman. A white to off-white with striking deep green veins and black stems. Allure will tolerate morning sun but prefers shade, this one looks great in the landscape or patio pot. Thin, matte leaves can be large – the delicate green tracery between the veins also pops out.

    Our breeding program is designed to start replacing older varieties with new, more vigorous caladiums with better habits and consistent growth. Allure may ultimately replace some of these older varieties, such as Candidum, that have lost much of their original vigor and properties.

White Wonder Caladiums

    Our Classic Heart to Heart™ “White Wonder” caladiums have frilly white strapped shaped leaves with distinctive green borders. This variety grows well in sun to partial shade. Heart to Heart™ White Wonder makes an outstanding border plant for garden or landscape. White Wonder is a patent protected release from our CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman. All bulbs are de-eyed and painted.

Raspberry Moon

    Developed by Classic’s CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman – our trademarked Hart to Heart™ Raspberry Moon fancy caladiums feature a vibrant light green background and smaller splotches of dark green around prominent raspberry blazes. Raspberry Moon caladiums can tolerate up to 8 hrs of full sun and reach heights of more than 20″. Individual leaf sizes may average about 8″ – 10″ tall. Lightly frilly leaf slightly thicker than most caladiums of it’s type. All bulbs are de-eyed and painted.

Va-Va Violet Caladiums

    Violet Caladiums! This is a completely new look in color for caladiums, brought to you by Classic and and our co-branding partner, Proven Winners. Being the first violet variety on the market, Heart to Heart™ Va Va Violet is sure to sell itself. Triple V is a short mounded variety and useful in 4” and larger pots, hanging baskets, combination/patio containers and shade landscapes. Va Va Violet is tolerant to up to 4 hours of morning sun but generally should be considered a shade variety. Proven Winners bulbs are de-eyed and painted.

Flatter Me

    Developed by Classic’s CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman, our Heart to Heart™ Flatter Me Caladiums feature a unique leaf with a vibrant green edge and smaller splotches of dark green
around prominent raspberry veins. Our fancy Flatter Me Caladiums can tolerate 8 hours of sun and reach heights of more than 16″. All bulbs are de-eyed and painted.

Desert Sunset Caladiums

    Lance leaf Desert Sunset presents a completely unique color pattern for caladiums. Leaves are salmon pink with copper colored veins. Desert Sunset has a compact full habit and therefore is useful in all pot sizes. In combination patio planters or your landscape; Desert Sunset is useful as a border or intermediate plant and prefers partial sun to full shade. Desert Sunset grows fast and will develop a full plant in 6-7 weeks. Desert Sunset was a runaway sensation at the 2016 Florida Federation of Garden Clubs State Convention. Expert gardeners who know and love caladiums raved over this new variety, not to mention, bought everything we had at the show! This variety created by our CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman, introduced in 2013.

Fast Flash

    We specifically bred our new fancy Heart to Heart™ Fast Flash for our commercial growers, Fast Flash grows as fast as our fastest fancy varieties (especially, popular Red Flash) and has a great habit making it an excellent pot plant. A sun lover, Fast Flash was developed by Classic’s CEO, Dr. Robert Hartman. All bulbs are de-eyed and painted.
