   Caladium Flare is a pale red often shiny strap (lance) leaf variety introduced in 2013.  Flare is can tolerant 6 to 8 hours of morning sun and works well in the landscape as a short to intermediate variety.  Flare would remind you of a shiny strap Rosebud but with a deeper richer color. Flare is useful in 4” and larger pots, baskets and combination planters. This caladium variety was developed by Dr. Robert Hartman, CEO of Classic Caladiums.
