Candidum Caladiums |
|
White variety with green
netted venation and thin green margin;
the Candidum caladium performs best in partial shade to shady
areas of landscape.
Good for pot plants.
Dominant eye removal not necessary to
make a pot plant but doing so will
improve quality. De-eying technique
critical. For eye removal: take out no
more flesh than is necessary to remove
eye, but staying within the diameter of
the eye. See
de-eying section. Using
No. 2 size bulbs will increase leaf
count. For decades the number one
variety. Grows to approx 13" tall,
mature leaves may average 10" tall.
